Price structure.
Market perspective.
I’m Andrey, founder of TradeLean. My work combines pivot-point roadmaps, technical analysis and historical research to assess market conditions and develop forward-looking scenarios.
How I got here.
I entered the financial markets in 2008, starting with equities and foreign exchange. Like many traders, I thought the answer was more: more indicators, more strategies, more news.
That gave me plenty of explanations after a move, but too often left me with conflicting signals before the next one. I kept coming back to the same question: was all this complexity helping me read the market, or making it harder to make sense of what was in front of me?
By 2015, I had started stripping the process back. Defined price levels, Fibonacci-based pivot zones and the structure of the chart became the centre of my work. I wanted a framework I could return to consistently, rather than a new explanation for every candle.
In 2022, I founded cryptolean around that approach. TradeLean carries that work forward: market research, technical analysis and tools built around a clear price roadmap.
A framework built on pivot points.
My technical analysis is anchored in Fibonacci-based pivot levels across weekly, monthly and quarterly periods. Together, they form a price roadmap that places shorter-term developments within a broader context.
Each roadmap identifies the relevant price zones and the conditions supporting alternative scenarios. It provides a consistent basis for assessing the next move and revising the outlook as new evidence emerges.
The chart gives me a question. Research takes it further.
A familiar structure catches my attention, but resemblance alone is not enough. I want to examine when something similar happened, how the periods compare and what followed — including the examples that went a different way.
That is where historical data and market research come into my process. I study price behaviour around pivot levels, compare structures across periods and investigate whether an observation holds up beyond a few convincing charts.
The Price Projection Engine is an extension of that work: a way to explore historical analogues and possible price paths. The website’s current tool is a demonstration; the research questions behind it are central to what I’m building.
Foresight means knowing what I’m watching next.
I don’t need a single story about where the market must go. I need a view of the paths that matter and the conditions that distinguish them.
If price holds a zone, one scenario remains in play. If it closes beyond the area that supports my view, I need to reassess. I want those conditions visible before the outcome, so the reasoning can be followed and reviewed.
For me, foresight is that preparation: connecting the present structure to what could develop next, while staying ready to change my mind.
